Abstract. In this work, we propose a dynamic, flexible and interactive urban digital terrain platform with spatial data and query processing capabilities of geographic information systems, multimedia database functionality and graphical modeling infrastructure. A new data element, called Geo-Node, which stores image, spatial data and 3-D CAD objects is developed using an efficient data structure. The system effectively handles data transfer of Geo-Nodes between main memory and secondary storage with an optimized directional replacement policy (DRP) based buffer management scheme. Polyhedron structures are used in digital surface modeling and smoothing process is performed by interpolation. The experimental results show that our framework achieves high performance and works effectively with urban scenes independent from the amount of spatial data and image size. The proposed platform may contribute to the development of various applications such as Web GIS systems based on 3-D graphics standards (e.g., X3-D and VRML) and services which integrate multi-dimensional spatial information and satellite/aerial imagery.

The city of Madiun is the 4th largest city after Surabaya, Malang and Kediri with various facilities and infrastructure for the community to support healthy cities. Until now, health facilities spread across the city of Madiun have been grouped by sub-district and sub-district. However, the distribution of health facilities throughout the city of Madiun has not been visually mapped regarding the layout of the location of health service facilities in actual conditions. With the visualization of mapping the distribution of health facility locations, it can be used as a reference for users in finding and knowing the location of health facilities. The process of creating a mapping system is carried out using a Geographic Information System (GIS). The system can collect, manage, manipulate, and visualize spatial (spatial) based data and is an information system that can be used in various fields, one of which is in the health sector

From 2009, Ministry of Health in China continues to develop and promote the construction of the residents' electronic health records. The corresponding standards were pronounced by the Ministry of Health. Under the national standards, we developed a resident's electronic health records system. In order to improve effective of medical staff's daily management, the visualization of the residents address is added to our system. The system is composed by a variety of chronic diseases query and statistical database model. All routes among the addresses are marked on the map. The best route to visit each address is selected by our system. The algorithm used in the visualization is compared to three other algorithms. The efficiency of our system is the highest.
