The course "Principles of Pedagogy" is a compulsory public course in China's normal universities and serves as a fundamental course for teacher certification. The quality of training normal school students is directly impacted by the teaching effect of this course. However, due to the course's excessive concept and objective limitations such as teaching duration and class size, most universities still employ traditional teaching models, resulting in an unsatisfactory teaching effect. This article aims to clarify the research review of case-based teaching methods, summarize the current research situation of using case-based teaching methods in the course of pedagogy principles, and propose suggestions for using case-based teaching methods in current Chinese universities to carry out pedagogy principles courses. The goal is to provide a reference for relevant research and teaching.

To facilitate front-line teachers to provide more efficient cases for classroom teaching activities in limited teaching time, it is necessary to conduct clustering analysis of online teaching cases. The existing clustering study on text-based teaching resources focuses on the representation and fusion of different views of texts and the discovery of consistent clustering allocation, and ignores the high-dimensional sparsity of text data. To this end, this paper studies clustering analysis of online teaching cases and evaluation of teaching results. This paper gives the design flow of online teaching with case teaching as the core and proposes a text multi-view clustering algorithm based on case subject alignment, and presents a clustering model structure based on subject alignment. Based on the grey system theory, this paper compares online classroom teaching results before and after teachers use clustering algorithm to process teaching cases. Finally, the experimental setup is given, and the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified by experiment.

Experiential Learning (ExL) is an effective way to consolidate theoretical knowledge and deepen understandings, and the recommendation of ExL resources needs to also take the effect of students’ theoretical learning into consideration. However, existing studies generally ignore the stage-by-stage assessment of students’ completion of online learning tasks, and the recommendation performance of existing resource recommendation models for ExL is not satisfactory enough. Therefore, the recommendation method needs to be innovated, and the interpretability of recommendation results is facing challenges. To respond to these issues, this paper studied a new resource recommendation method for ExL based on the completion degree of online learning tasks. At first, the paper gave the principle of recommending ExL resources based on the completion degree of online learning tasks, and built an online learning task completion degree prediction model. Then, this paper adopted a bi-directional GRU network model based on attention mechanism to analyze the recent online learning behavior sequence of students and attain the completion degree of students’ short term learning tasks. After that, a knowledge map representing ExL resources and the correlation of knowledge attributes was drawn; by combining the completion degree of both the short-term and long-term learning tasks, the ExL resources suitable for students were recommended to them. At last, experimental results verified the effectiveness of the constructed model.
