This articlestudies the action and biocompatibility of the developed montmorillonite-containing preparation "Sorbent" on experimental animals with its longterm use. The local irritating effect of the "Sorbent" preparation was evaluated by its effect on the gastric mucosa of animals with experimental ulcerative pathology. The size of the most common particles in the suspension is 5-8 microns. The experiments were carried out on white rats of the Wistar line and non-linear Hartley guinea pigs.To identify the irritating effect, the drug was administered to animals in therapeutic doses of 200 mg/kg and three times the conditionally therapeutic dose -600 mg/kg of body weight. Destructive changes in the stomachs of experimental animals were studied macroscopically. The ulcerogenic effect was evaluated by calculating the Pauls index.

Novel cost-effective sorbents based on hydrolytic lignin of cotton husk have been synthesized by two-step process including condensation of lignin with epichlorhydrin oligomer and subsequent amination of formed chloroderivative with polyamines. The results show the efficiency of lignin sorbents for the removal of water and lipid soluble toxic metabolites from blood serum of diabetic retinopathy patients. Due to high sorption activity of synthesized sorbents in relation to glucose and lipids, including triglycerides, cholesterol and its most atherogenic fractions (LDL-C, VLDL-C) their concentration reduced from pathological levels to physiological norm or the levels of optimum compensated diabetes. Considerable hypolipidemic and hypoglycemic effects of synthesized sorbents in comparison with enterosorbent Polyphepan have potential for prevention and treatment of diabetes. Sorption correction of pathological process decrease risk of diabetic retinopathy progression and can delay irreversible vision loss among working-age adults.

Національний фармацевтичний університетАналітичний огляд вітчизняного ринку ентеросорбентів Мета: аналіз зареєстрованих ентеросорбентів, фармацевтичних субстанцій для їх виробництва, а також дієтичних добавок сорбційної дії для установлення доцільності створення й організації виробництва нових препаратів ентеросорбентів на основі цеоліту природного (кліноптилоліту).Матеріали і методи: перелік лікарських засобів, складений за офіційними джерелами інформації, який опрацьовували методами узагальнення, систематизації, графічним та методами порівняльного і структурного аналізу.Результати дослідження. Проведено аналіз фармацевтичного ринку України щодо асортименту зареєстрованих фармацевтичних субстанцій, лікарських препаратів та дієтичних добавок ентеросорбційної дії. Здійснено структуризацію відібраного переліку лікарських засобів за виробничою ознакою, кількістю компонентів і видом лікарської форми. За виробничою ознакою більшість лікарських засобів ентеросорбентів вітчизняного виробництва (71,73 %). Зареєстровані лікарські препарати є винятково монокомпонентними за складом, а більшість дієтичних добавок -комплексними (69,93 %). Визначено, що найбільш широко представлені лікарські засоби у вигляді твердих лікарських форм: лікарські препарати (76,22 %) та дієтичні добавки (95,23 %). На фармацевтичному ринку відсутні препарати з цеолітом природним, а дієтичні добавки з цією речовиною закордонного виробництва.Висновки. Відсутність на українському ринку препаратів цеоліту природного (кліноптилоліт) вітчизняного виробництва та наявність лише дієтичних добавок закордонного походження свідчать про 100 % монополізацію у цьому сегменті ринку і, відповідно, про необхідність та доцільність упровадження на ринок нових вітчизняних препаратів ентеросорбентів на основі цеоліту природного.Ключові слова: фармацевтичний ринок; ентеросорбенти; дієтичні добавки; цеоліт природний.Aim. To analyze the registered enterosorbents, pharmaceutical substances for their production, as well as sorptive dietary supplements in order to determine the feasibility of creating and organizing the production of new enterosorbents on the basis of natural zeolite (clinoptilolite).Materials and methods. The list of medicines based on official sources of information was used in the work; it was processed by generalization, systematization, graphic methods, as well as methods of comparative and structural analysis.Results. The analysis of the pharmaceutical market of Ukraine concerning the range of the registered pharmaceutical substances, medicinal products and dietary supplements with the enterosorption action has been conducted. Structuring of the selected list of medicines by the production basis, the number of components and the type of dosage form has been carried out. By the production basis the majority of medicines are of domestic production (71.73 %). The registered medicines are monocomponent by the composition, and most dietary supplements are complex (69.93 %).
