Application of erector spinae plane block in a child with pyothorax: a description of a clinical case

Abstract: The article describes the experience of the successful use of erector spinae plane block (ESPB) as a component of intra- and postoperative analgesia in a young child with severe community-acquired pneumonia with pyothorax when performing microthoracotomy with drainage of the pleural cavity.
