Application of New Version of Flood Frequency Analysis (Bulletin 17C)

Abstract: Accurate flood frequency and magnitude estimation has a critical role in flood risk management and damage reduction. In United States, Log Pearson Type-III (LP-III) distribution with method of moments for parameter estimation has been uniformly and consistently employed in estimating design floods.
