Abstract:In this paper, a spectral method based on the rational Legendre functions is discussed to approximate the solution of the boundary layer flow of an Eyring-Powell non-Newtonian fluid over a stretching sheet. At first, because of the model is a nonlinear ordinary differential equation, we construct a sequence of linear ordinary differential equations (ODEs) by using the quasilinearization method (QLM).
