Abstract:Many different MT response functions such as the impedance and tipper which are converted from measured electromagnetic fields to remove the effects of natural sources have been proposed and studied. To obtain good inversion results, it is important to know that the inversion results depend on the sensitivity patterns of the MT response functions used as the input, indicating parts to which the MT responses are sensitive. We introduce how to use the sensitivity patterns to determine optimal input MT response f… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
