Application of the Darcy and Richards equations for modelling of water capillary rise in building materials

Abstract: This paper presents the application of the Darcy and Richards equations, describing water flow and dynamic changes of the water content in porous medium, for numerical modeling of water capillary rise in the selected building materials.
