Application of the semiclassical distorted wave model to the inclusive (d, d′x) reaction

Abstract: We apply the semiclassical distorted wave model to the deuteroninduced inclusive (d, d′x) reaction. The calculated double differential cross sections (DDXs) as a function of the deuteron emission energy and the scattering angle are compared with experimental data. The calculated DDXs reasonably reproduce experimental data in the small energy-transfer region and at the forward angles.
