Applications and Prospects of CRISPR-Cas system in Cyanobacteria

Abstract: Cyanobacteria are prokaryotic microorganisms with capacity to perform photosynthesis and provide valuable platform to produce high-value bioactive compounds in carbon-neutral pathway.
