Key points Culinary medicine can enhance a provider's ability to counsel patients using “food as medicine” to treat disease‐specific areas. Applying culinary medicine in pediatric gastroenterology is a practical way to empower patients to better manage their condition, minimize gastrointestinal symptoms, and promote a healthier relationship with food.
