Applications of RFID in a SCOR-model driven enterprise production system

Abstract: The SCOR-model contains five primary man agement processes, namely, Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, and Return. The development of radio frequency identifica tion (RFID) technology provides an efficient way to improve the supply chain performance. In this paper, the application of RFID technology in a SCOR-model driven enterprise production system (EPS) is introduced. The framework and architecture of the RFID-based EPS are proposed to inte grate the RFID devices into the production system. After wards the main p… Show more

“…The present stage very many manufacture enterprise all applied the data acquisition production system to strengthen production management in quality has obtained the good effect, at present many discrete manufacturing industry production actual accomplishments and the quality associated data acquisition total dependence in the manual record, its accuracy and timeliness were not high, this limited the discrete manufacturing industry production quality and efficiency further enhancement, these questions have already become the main restriction factor which the discrete manufacturing industry promote competitive power and further development. The design and the development RFID technology based on the wireless radio frequency the data acquisition product in order to the discrete manufacturing industry may prompt, gain the production data accurately, and carry on prompt analysis processing to the data, reduce the production waste and the product cycle, improve the product quality and efficiency, enhance the enterprise the comprehensive competitive power [1]- [3].…”
