Technologies related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) are becoming more prevalent in several facets of our life and are constantly advancing. A recent example is the chatbot known as ChatGPT, created by OpenAI and featuring a conversational AI interface. ChatGPT, one of the most sophisticated AI programs, has generated a lot of global public interest. In light of this, this study uses a type of qualitative instrumental case study to investigate ChatGPT in education among early adopters. The study, which is being done in three stages, finds that people are enthusiastic about using social media in learning environments and that public commentary on the platform is generally favorable. There are, nonetheless, some voices that are utilizing ChatGPT in learning environments with caution. The results of this study offer a number of research avenues that ought to be taken into account in order to guarantee the safe and responsible implementation of chatbots, particularly ChatGPT, in the educational setting.
