Applying ISO/IEC 25010 on Mobile Personal Health Records

Abstract: Software product quality requirements reflect the stockholders' needs in terms of quality. They play a central role in the success of the system and the software product quality. This paper lists mobile personal health record (mPHR) requirements extracted from literature and identifies the requirements which should be included in the mPHR quality evaluation. Moreover, the ISO/IEC 25010 software product quality model is used to present a checklist with which to calculate the influence of the mPHR requirements o… Show more

“…The extraction was based on a previous study defining mPHR requirements in general [12], in addition to a study evaluating current mPHR features and functionalities in order to extract the common data elements and application features for an mPHR [13]. Studies concerning web based and USB based PHRs were also reviewed by taking into consideration their features and functionalities [1,2,14].…”

“…Once the degrees of impact have been calculated, they are classified in five categories, as shown in Table 2. [12] In order to illustrate the use of the above analysis process, we shall calculate the degree of impact of the block OP that contains 7 requirements, on the external characteristic Functional suitability (FS) that contains two sub-characteristics. It is primordial to calculate the degree of impact of each requirement OPi (DI (FS, OPi)) before calculating the degree of impact of the whole OP block on Functional suitability: DI(FS,OP)=∑ i = 1 7 ((DI(FS, OPi))/7.…”
