Abstract: Introduction Tumor-induced osteomalacia (TIO) poses a significant diagnostic challenge, leading to increased disease duration and patient burden also by missing clinical suspicion. Today, diagnosis of osteomalacia relies on invasive iliac crest biopsy, if needed.
