Approximate treatment of antisymmetrization in a microscopic calculation of the7Li charge form factor

Abstract: The 7Li charge form factor is calculated with a procedure in which the antisymmetrization of the wave function is simply approximated by the adoption of an intercluster renormalized function obtained by operating on the resonating-group relative-motion function with the square root of the norm operator. The investigation shows that this approximation prescription can yield satisfactory results in the low-q 2 region but becomes somewhat inaccurate when q2 becomes large.
