More recent studies have identified risks such as radioactivity (Manjón et al, 2013; Manjón et al, 2019; Mantero et al, 2020), watercourse “flow‐throughs” (Lund et al, 2018), build‐up of gasses (Boehrer et al, 2016; Sánchez‐España, Yusta, & Boehrer, 2020), and cyanobacterial blooms (Blanchette & Lund, 2021; Goździejewska et al, 2021).
