Aquecimento e desaquecimento vocais: revisão sistemática

Abstract: For this literature review, we researched national and international scientific publications on vocal warm--up and cool-down of the speaking voice, through databases such as Lilacs, MedLine and Scielo, in order to identify and describe the methodological parameters and the effects of the vocal warm-up and cool-down proposals that are described in national and international literature. We performed the location and selection of studies through a survey of texts published on the theme from 1999 to 2013. We inclu… Show more

“…Voice changes have been reported in terms of acoustic, auditory-perceptual, aerodynamic, and self-evaluation measures. 8 Singers have noted changes in tonal quality, proprioceptive feedback, psychophysiological factors, and technical commands. An enhanced tonal vibrato quality has been observed not just by the singers themselves but also by the listeners.…”

“…VWU consists in a short series (15 to 30 minutes) of progressive exercises (12) that aims to protect the larynx from phonotraumatic lesions. VWU prepares the vocal apparatus for intense voice use by means of respiratory airflow control, head and neck movements and flexibility of the extrinsic and intrinsic muscles of the larynx.…”

“…VCD consists in a sequence of short hierarchically organized exercises (5 to 15 minutes) (12) that aim to gradually place the voice back in its habitual muscular adjustment. By stretching the muscles involved, the practice helps to reduce the tension caused by intense voice use, in addition to reducing the fundamental frequency (f0) and intensity, which are key to vocal overload.…”
