Arabic characters descriptors for lexicon reduction in Arabic handwriting

Abstract: This paper introduces an advanced Arabic handwriting recognition technique using lexicon reduction. The lexicon reduction technique stands on extracting the Arabic character shape descriptors. The technique implementation consists of two major stages.
