Abstract: The study of phosphorylase kinase (PhK)-regulated glycogen metabolism has contributed to the fundamental understanding of protein phosphorylation; however, the molecular mechanism of PhK remains poorly understood. Here we present the high-resolution cryo-electron microscopy structures of human muscle PhK.
