Architecture of Cognitive Radio Networks

Abstract: Today’s wireless networks are characterized by fixed spectrum assignment policy. The spectral scarcity and the inefficiency in the spectrum usage necessitate a new communication paradigm to exploit the existing wireless spectrum, opportunistically.
