Architecture of nano‐ and microdimensional building blocks

Abstract: The architecture of nano-and microdimensional building blocks has been investigated within the research group FOR 522 funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft. The main results are summarized in a series of papers following this article. Nanowires have been investigated for III-V-and II-VIsemiconductors and thermoelectric materials.
