Two coordination polymers with three‐dimensional (3D) architectures, formulated as {[Zn2(H2O)(2,5‐tdc)2(bpa)2]·H2O}n (1) and [Zn2(2,5‐tdc)2(dpbd)]n (2) [2,5‐H2tdc = 2,5‐thiophenedicarboxylic acid, bpa = 1,2‐bis(4‐pyridyl)‐ethane, and dpbd = 1,4‐bis(4‐pyridyl)‐1,3‐butadiene] were synthesized from the hydrothermal reactions of Zn(NO3)2·6H2O, 2,5‐H2tdc, and bpa or dpbd, respectively. The two complexes were characterized by IR, elemental analysis, powder X‐ray diffraction, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. 1 exhibits a fivefold interpenetrating diamondoid framework with two types of 4‐connecting nodes. The structure of 2 shows a threefold interpenetrating pcu net. Thermal stability and photoluminescent properties of 1 and 2 were also investigated.
