Effective archives manerament, by Indonesian Law Number 43 of 2009, is essential for efficiently handling both physical and digital archives. Archives play a crucial role in more than just storing information. They also facilitate analysis, planning, policy formulation, decisionmaking, accountability, and assessment. The study constitutes a type of normative legal research.In the digital era, progress in information technology requires digital archiving to enable fast retrieval, guarantee credibility, and support informed decision-making and policy development.
