According to the Togo 2014 National Data for the Plateaux region, malaria accounted for 51% of all outpatient cases and 29% of inpatient cases in medical institutions, with children under the age of 5 years accounting for 37% of all malarial incidences and 29% of all mortality cases (Djadou et al, 2006;Djadou et al, 2007).
