Arterial hypertension in patients with chronic bronchopulmonary diseases: The heart as a target organ is the focus of the problem

Abstract: Fifty-seven patients with grade 1 essential hypertension concurrent with chronic obstructive bronchitis or bronchial asthma were examined. They were found to have characteristics of the daily blood pressure profile, such as a high load due to pressure and its inadequate nocturnal lowering.
