Abstract:A wide range of vascular anomalies occurs in the gastrointestinal tract, the most specific being those of hereditary haemorrhagic telangiectasia. However, single gastric angiodysplasias are being recognised with increased frequency as an important cause of upper gastrointestinal bleeding.
