Arthroscopic All-Inside Suture Bridge for Remplissage Procedure Treating Off-Tracking Hill–Sachs Lesions in Anterior Shoulder Instability

Abstract: HilleSachs lesions are significantly correlated with recurrent anterior shoulder instability. The remplissage procedure is designed to fill a posterosuperior humeral head defect with the infraspinatus tendon and posterosuperior capsule in patients with off-track HilleSachs lesions. This Technical Note describes an arthroscopic all-inside suture bridge to gain more footprint contact area and tissue compression to improve healing. Moreover, it does not have the necessity of going through the subacromial space to… Show more

“… 1 Addressing these bony defects and performing procedures such as restoration and Remplissage are primary considerations in the management of such conditions. 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 However, it is crucial to acknowledge that humeral avulsion of the glenohumeral ligament (HAGL) represents a relatively uncommon condition that can lead to recurrent shoulder instability, demanding equal attention and consideration in the assessment and treatment of these cases.…”
