Arylidene indanone scaffold: medicinal chemistry and structure–activity relationship view

Abstract: Arylidene indanone (AI) scaffolds are considered as the rigid cousins of chalcones, incorporating the α,β-unsaturated ketone system of chalcones forming a cyclic 5 membered ring.
