Abstract: O Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento (PAC) abrange uma série de medidas de caráter econômico visando a manutenção da estabilidade econômica e o cumprimento de acordos internacionais. Este artigo tem como objetivo principal analisar as implicações desse programa para as políticas sociais, visto que são previstas em suas ações medidas de desonerações tributárias, com diminuição dos recursos arrecadados para o fundo público, e medidas institucionais que enfraquecem os direitos sociais.
