Ascorbic acid does not influence skeletal muscle contraction‐induced rapid vasodilation in older healthy humans

Abstract: Age‐related increases in oxidative stress impair endothelium‐dependent vasodilation in humans, which could possibly explain our recent observations of blunted contraction‐induced rapid vasodilation in older adults.
