By establishing an ecology compensation asset securitization project, market mechanisms can be used to regulate the interests of stakeholders in ecological conservation. Previous studies have shown that combining asset securitization with environmental protection can effectively promote the sustainable development of both economy and environment. However, there is still a lack of research on the stable mechanisms and impact of integrating ecology compensation and asset securitization. In this study, we propose a comprehensive operating model for ecology compensation asset securitization and a specific valuation framework supported by a multi‐period, multi‐state Markov model for ecology compensation asset securitization. If the project's net present value is positive, it can effectively reduce the risks of ecology compensation projects and increase the return rate of ecology compensation asset securitization projects. By employing the case study of ZhongHang ShouGang Green Energy (SZ:180801) and implementing the asset pool valuation using the multi‐state Markov model, the deviation error is 0.89%, validating the effectiveness of the model. Additionally, sensitivity analysis from simulation results indicates that changes in interest rates and default probabilities are the main factors influencing the valuation of the asset pool. After summarizing the research conclusions, relevant policy recommendations and future prospects are presented. This research aims to provide reference for the development and application of ecology compensation asset securitization.

This research covers the literature gap by investigating the factors of economic expansion (GDP), total natural resources (TNRNT), political risk index (PRI) and technological innovation (TI) and their impact on the renewable electricity output (REOT) in the G7 economies, covering the period 1990-2022. The research utilizes novel MMQREG as the primary method, while BSQR is a non-parametric robustness check method. A pairwise Dumitrescu-Hurlin causality test is employed to find out the causal connection between variables. The diagnostic outcomes show that the modelled variables are static after the first difference while long-run equilibrium is also present. Moreover, the outcomes suggest that GDP negatively influences REOT across quantiles while TNRNT and PRI stimulate the use of REOT in G7 economies across quantiles. Moreover, TI positively influences REOT but is inconclusive across quantiles. The robustness check analysis provides similar and valid outcomes. Lowering political risk is also considered important for energy transition in terms of cleaner energy.

The adoption and utilization of renewable energy offer potential benefits such as enhanced energy efficiency, cost savings, and ecological advantages. However, a key research question addressed in this analysis is whether natural resource rent and employment dynamics influence renewable energy consumption in Africa. Previous research has predominantly focused on the aggregate employment rate, overlooking the nuances of labor diversity across sectors and employment types. Hence, this study evaluates the importance of natural resource rent and employment in driving the transition to green energy in sub‐Saharan Africa from 1991 to 2022. It employs the innovative method of moments quantile regression (MMQR) model for this purpose. The findings reveal a positive connection between natural resource rent and the adoption of green energy. When considering employment types, the study observes that self‐employment and wages/salaried workers undermine clean energy utilization. Moreover, the study highlights that employment across key economic sectors also plays a role. While employment in the agriculture and service sectors fosters green energy utilization, employment in the industrial sector impedes renewable energy consumption. To advance the development of green energy in Africa, this study underscores a range of policy options.
