Aspects of thermodynamic parameters with a kinetic approach of transition metal catalysed by potassium bromate oxidation of methyl diethylene glycol (MDG) in alkaline medium
Abstract:The kinetic data obtained in ruthenium(VI) catalysed oxidation of methyldiethylene glycol (MDG) in alkaline medium using potassium bromate as oxidant and transition metal ruthenium tetroxide as a homogenous catalyst. In this kinetic reaction, Hg(OAc)2 acts as a liberated bromide ion scavenger. The result shows first order with respect to KBrO3, methyldiethylene glycol (MDG) and transition metal respectively. It shows zero order dependences of the reaction on aqueous sodium hydroxide, which is used as medium of… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
