Abstract

The government and the community are responsible for ensuring that every mother has access to quality maternal health services. The purpose of this study was to study the implementation of the authority and competence of midwives in meeting health service standards, especially in the midwifery service sector in Buleleng Regency.The purpose of this study was to determine the legal aspects of implementing the authority of midwives in midwifery services. This research design is a qualitative research design with a phenomenological descriptive study. The sample in this study were 25 respondents.From the research results, it can be seen that the legal basis for implementing the authority and competence of midwives in meeting midwifery service standards
