Abstract:Aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease (AERD) is a clinical syndrome characterized by nasal polyps, chronic hypertrophic eosinophilic sinusitis, asthma, and sensitivity to cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) inhibitors.
