Aspiring Hoggar and Tidikelt geoparks in Algeria

Abstract: Algeria does not count any classified geoparks despite its wealthy geological heritage, particularly in Tamanrasset province (southern Algeria). The economic activities in this province require promotion and diversification apart from the oil and gas industry.
