“…Since P-NAD in the reagent for MDH measurement is reduced in the presence of endogenous lactic acid and LD, preincubation at 37°C for 60 minutes and addition of LD inhibitors have been used to eliminate the positive interference from LD or lactate (13). By adding oxamic acid to inhibit LD activity, we were able to shorten the preincubation time, thus enabling measurement of T-MDH activity with an autoanalyzer.…”
