Subject. The article addresses agrobiotechnoparks and analyzes the case of the Giaginsky Agrobiotechnopark project, implemented in the Republic of Adygea.
Objectives. The purpose is to investigate the role of agrobiotechnoparks in ensuring structural transformation of agro-industrial complex and stimulating regional economic growth, analyze how the integration of advanced agricultural technologies contributes to the creation of conditions for achieving food sovereignty and sustainable development of the Russian agricultural sector.
Methods. We employed the abstract-logical method to structure the theoretical foundations and identify the key factors of the effectiveness of agrobiotechnoparks, dialectical method to study the interrelation of climatic, logistical and economic factors, and statistical analysis - to quantify their impact on the economy of the region.
Results. The analysis shows that the activities of the agro-industrial technopark will significantly contribute to GRP growth, stimulate job creation, and the development of scientific and educational areas and infrastructure, which together enhance socio-economic stability and increase the region’s investment appeal.
Conclusions. Agrobiotechnoparks play a key role in strengthening food security, ensuring the growth of import substitution indicators for agricultural products, stimulating regional economic growth, and increasing the competitiveness of the Russian agricultural sector at the international level.
