Assessing the reliability, predictive and construct validity of historical, clinical and risk management-20 (HCR-20) in Mexican psychiatric inpatients

Abstract: The HCR-20 is a suitable instrument for predicting violence risk in Mexican psychiatric inpatients.

Sada et al gathered data for verbal aggression, as well as physical aggression against oneself, objects, and others, at three points (at the time of admission, approximately 2 weeks later, and upon discharge) by independent clinicians who were not involved in completing the HCR-20.…”
