Abstract:A Study of indoor and outdoor radiation dose rate level measurements for male and female hostels at the Federal University of Kashere Hostels, Gombe State, Nigeria, has been carried out with the radiation alert smart 4 to ascertain the radiation level. The measured radiation dose rates were used to calculate the excess lifetime cancer risk and assess radiological health risks.
