Assessment of closed wedge osteotomy in the material of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology in Kalisz as a treatment method for severe and moderate hallux valgus

Abstract: Hallux valgus constitutes of a progressive adduction of the hallux in the first metatarsal joint, accompanied by progressive varus in the first ray, pronation of the first metatarsal bone and medial displacement of the head of the first metatarsal bone.
