Assessment of elite pepper breeding lines using molecular markers

Abstract:In this study, 38 elite breeding pepper lines were genetically analyzed using SRAP markers and tested for resistance to PVY, TSWV, and PMMoV viruses using molecular markers. In the virus resistance tests, 1 line (37-H–D-6) from the Three-lobs population was found to be resistant to all 3 viruses tested.
