Abstract: To harness the inherent advantages of both synthetic and natural reinforcements, mercerized bagasse fibers (BF) and particulate calcium carbonate (CaCO3) were utilized as a complementing reinforcement for the fabrication of bagasse fiber/calcium carbonate (BF/CaCO3) polypropylene composites.
