“…The lake dam is made of clay and lled with rock. It has a 1.62 km 2 surface area with an active water level of 25.3 hm 3 (Akkan et al 2018). Pike gill nets were simultaneously used to collect sh samples monthly from September 2015 to August 2016 at Sıddıklı Küçükboğaz Dam Lake.…”

“…Water quality depends on both the natural and anthropogenic process and its determination is an important tool for the promotion of sustainable agriculture development (Yildiz and Karakus 2019). The quality of irrigation water governs the presence of different ions in groundwater like pH, electrical conductivity (EC), total hardness (TH), chloride (Cl -), sulfate (SO4 2-), carbonate (CO3 2-), bicarbonate (HCO3 -), nitrate (NO3 -), fluoride (F -), calcium (Ca 2+ ), magnesium (Mg 2+ ), sodium (Na + ) and potassium (K + ) as observed by Qureshi et al 2021;Karakus and Yildiz 2019;Singh et al 2015;Bornare et al 2018;Almeida et al 2008;Akkan et al 2018;Sehnaz et al 2017;Tziritis et al 2016;Abdessamed et al 2021;Maleki and Jari 2021).Use of contaminated or enriched irrigation water may harmful for both crop and soil by aggravation of certain ions in the soilplant system. There are severalhydrogeochemical processes like precipitation, silicate weathering, carbonate dissolution, rock weathering, evaporite dissolution, water flow and runoff were involved and controlling agents for different ions sources in groundwater (Avtar et al 2011).…”
