Assessment of Memory in Neurogenic Communication Disorders

Abstract: The evaluation of memory in adults with neurogenic communication disorders is complicated by the fact that traditional memory assessment emphasizes verbal content. Also, standardized test procedures often include long and complex instructions that place heavy comprehension demands on clients.
