Abstract:Purpose: In the Amazon, farmers use chemical fertilizers on a large scale to meet the nutritional requirements of some crops. Plant-growth promoting bacteria (PGPB) offer a sustainable alternative to enhance crop productivity. This study aimed to prospect novel PGPB from Amazonian black pepper (Piper nigrum L.) roots.
