Assessment of Precipitate Formation on Interaction of Chlorhexidine with Sodium Hypochlorite, Neem, Aloevera and Garlic: An in vitro Study

Abstract: Introduction:The interaction between chlorhexidine (CHX) and sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) yields a thick precipitate capable of occluding dentinal tubules. Previous studies are unclear as to the above-mentioned precipitate contains para-chloroaniline (PCA) or not. PCA is a known toxic and carcinogenic compound which may lead to methemoglobinemia in humans.Aim:This study aims to evaluate the precipitate formed on combination of different irrigants, weigh the amount of precipitate formed and to analyze the precip… Show more

“…In any case, at or beneath 5.8 (basic pH), demineralisation of tooth surface will occur. Therefore, ACP gets changed over to translucent Hydroxyapatite (HAP), in this manner supplanting the HAP crystals lost by corrosive (Ramanathan and Solete, 2015;Siddique et al, 2019).…”

“…The main reason for this is due to the bacterial invasion into the pulp on caries exposure (Kumar and Antony, 2018). Following, the exposed pulp will not be infected or in lamed (Siddique et al, 2019). From the results, it shows that the teeth with the direct pulp exposure are to be survived better with the pulp other than the exposure which has been formed by the advancing cavities (Ramamoorthi et al, 2015).…”
