Assessment of Riverbed Sediments Originated from Volcanic Ash Soils in Jeju Island

Abstract: The pollution of riverbed sediments originating from soils derived from volcanic ash on Jeju Island was assessed. Organic matter (IL), nutrients (TN, TP), and heavy metals (Pb, Zn, Cu, Cd, Hg, As, Cr, Ni) in the sampled sediments were analyzed, and the pollution status was assessed to identify whether it is of anthropogenic or natural origin.
