Assessment of soil organic carbon stocks in the Limpopo National Park: from legacy data to digital soil mapping

Abstract: In 2001, Mozambique declared an area known as "Coutada 16" (hunting zone) the Limpopo National Park (LNP), which forms part of a trans-frontier park with South Africa and Zimbabwe. The park provides ecosystem services and supports the livelihoods of thousands people living in the many communities within its boundaries, which were planned for relocation outside the park.
