Abstract:Background and Aim : In Guinea, the supply of electrical energy still remains a major challenge, especially in rural areas. However, Guinea's hydroelectric energy potential is enormous, more than 6000 MW, with a very dense hydrographic network of 1165 rivers, which finds its origin mainly in the Fouta-Djallon.
